What is the Momentum Program?

Momentum was designed by Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment to offer you a more personalized experience while you plan your visit. It offers you more choices so that you can design your stay with us based on your individual interests.

How many card types are there?

There are five (5) card types that can be attained though Status Point accumulation. They are Core, Ignite, Leap, Ascend and Soar.

What is the Core status card?

The Core status card is the initial card that any guest who is 19 years of age or older can sign up for. Core members have between 0 – 399 Status Points.

What is the Ignite status card?

The Ignite status card is available to members who earn 400 Status Points during the six-month qualifying period. Ignite members have between 400 – 2,499 Status Points.

What is the Leap status card?

The Leap status card is available to members who earn 2,500 Status Points during the six-month qualifying period. Leap members have between 2,500 – 4,999 Status Points.

What is the Ascend status card?

The Ascend status card is available to members who earn 5,000 Status Points during the six-month qualifying period. Ascend members have between 5,000 – 14,999 Status Points.

What is the Soar status card?

The Soar status card is available to members who earn 15,000 Status Points during the six-month qualifying period. Soar members have 15,000+ Status Points.

What are the qualifying periods?

Qualifying periods are April 1 to September 30 and October 1 to March 31 (As we remain closed we will continue to monitor the qualifying periods and status levels).

How does someone sign up for Momentum?

By presenting valid, government-issued photo identification at the Momentum Desks on property. Membership is restricted to ages 19 and older. Terms & Conditions apply, and can be found at FallsviewCasinoResort.com or CasinoNiagara.com.

Can you join Momentum online?

No, valid government-issued photo identification is required to be presented on property to join.

Is a PIN still required?

You will still require the use of a PIN for transactions and logging into your account online.

Where can more information be found on Momentum?

Both FallsviewCasinoResort.com and CasinoNiagara.com have extensive details on Momentum. When we re-open, brochures will be available at Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara.

How is the program better?

The Momentum program is designed to offer you more rewards and more choices. Program Achievement Awards offer above and beyond what we have ever offered in the past. Earning Momentum Dollars allows you more choices, so you can use all of your benefits on what you choose.

What are Status Points?

Status Points determine your Momentum Status and card type. The levels are Core, Ignite, Leap, Ascend and Soar. These are earned through play with a Momentum card. The 6-month qualification period is April 1 to September 30 and October 1 to March 31.

Are Status Points earned at the same rate throughout every card level?

Yes. Unlike Momentum Dollars, Status Points are earned at the same rate at each card level.

Do Status Points expire?

Yes, Status Points reset to zero at the end of each qualifying period.

Does one Momentum Dollar equal one Status Point?

With the implementation of Momentum, Status Points and Momentum Dollars will be earned at a different rate.

What are Momentum Dollars?

Cash Back or Player’s Club points are now called Momentum Dollars. Each Momentum Dollar is equal to $1CDN that can be spent on Free Play, at select dining locations, hotel stays, entertainment, select spa services, parking and coat check!

Are Momentum Dollars cashable?

Momentum Dollars cannot be redeemed for cash.

How are Momentum Dollars earned?

Momentum Dollars are earned through Slot Play and now through Table Play.

Do Momentum Dollars expire?

Yes, Momentum Dollars expire after 12 months of inactivity on your account.

Where can Momentum Dollars be used?

You can use your Momentum Dollars for:

  • Free Slot Play – directly at the Slot Machine
  • Free Table Play – at the Cashier for Promotional Chips
  • The Spa for select Spa Services
  • Entertainment Tickets
  • Hotel Stays

Do all cards earn Momentum Dollars at the same rate?

Ignite, Leap, Ascend and Soar members will earn Momentum Dollars at a faster rate than Core members. The earning is accelerated for both slots and table games!

Are Momentum Dollars recognized at other Mohegan Sun Properties?

At this time, no.

What is a Momentum Achievement Award?

Achievement Awards are set Status Point Goals that have an associated award attached to them. At each instance that you reach a set Status Point Goal you will be awarded with the associated prize level that is connected with that Goal.

Awards will be available at the NEW Momentum Promotional Kiosks located on the gaming floor every time a customer achieves one of the set Status Point Goals. You can earn multiple awards each day by hitting multiple Status Point Goals.

Where can the awards be redeemed?

All awards can be downloaded to your Momentum card at any of our NEW Momentum Promotional Kiosks on the gaming floor. They will be available for download on the kiosks for 30 days from the date that you have earned the award!

Do Achievement Awards expire?

Achievement Awards expire 30 days after they are earned. Once Achievement Awards have been downloaded, they will not expire.*

*unless account is inactive for over 12 months.

Are the play requirements different for the new levels than before?

Momentum is a new program with new names and requirements. There is no correlation between the Momentum Status levels and the prior ones.

Will my new Momentum card type be comparable to my old PAC card level?

We’ve done our best to ensure you are in a comparable status level.

What are the benefits associated with each card level?

A Benefits Chart has been created and outlines all the benefits per status level. This is available on fallsviewcasinoresort.com and casinoniagara.com, as well as in the Benefits Card Brochure.

How are the benefits different? Parking? Lounges? Hotel? Entertainment?

Many of the benefits are the same and we have added a new way for you to take advantage of your benefits with Ignite, Leap, Ascend and Soar card levels. You can redeem your Momentum Dollars for the amenities that you enjoy, for example, you may not use a hotel room, and would rather use your rewards to enjoy one of our many amazing restaurants instead.

Parking will be still be complimentary for Ignite cardholders and above. Parking on levels 1 and 2 will be complimentary to Ignite, Leap, Ascend and Soar cardholders, VIP parking on level 3 will be accessible to Ascend and Soar cardholders only.

Complimentary Hotel rooms will still be available based on play. Discount room rates will also be available based on hotel availability. You can now use your Momentum Dollars to purchase a hotel room.

Show tickets will still be offered as a complimentary based on play, but with the addition of Momentum Dollars you have the option to use them towards show tickets if you do not qualify based on play.

Will I receive more or less as a cardholder?

Offers will continue to be based on gaming activity. Momentum offers you more choices so that you can design your visit based on your individual interests.

Will I receive extra benefits playing at a higher rate?

Points are how you move up in your level, so if you were to move to a new level your benefits would increase. You will also earn more rewards and Momentum Achievement Awards based on Status Points earned.

How will I maintain or upgrade in the new program?

You will upgrade or maintain your card level based on the new Status Points Goals required at each card level. Just as before, you can check how many Status Points you have earned online, at the Momentum Desk or now at the NEW Momentum Promotional Kiosks located on the gaming floors.

How can I check how many (Momentum Dollars, Awards and Status Points) I have or how they were used?

You can visit fallsviewcasinoresort.com or casinoniagara.com and log into your account, or visit any of the NEW Momentum Promotional Kiosks located at each property to access this information.

Can I get more information about the card levels on the Kiosks? Slot Machines?

Yes, you can get information about your card level at the NEW Momentum Promotional Kiosks. Just as before, this information will not be available in detail at the slot machines. Checking of your Momentum Dollar balance and Free Slot Play will still be accessible at the slot machines.

Do I get free rooms? If so, how many?

Complimentary room offers will continue based on play and you can use your Momentum Dollars towards a hotel room based on availability.
